1 Vintage Vuarnet 085 Skilynx sunglasses feature the distinctive open V at the center of the nose bridge of the brown nylon frame and the famous Vuarnet double gradient mirror Skilynx lenses. The most notable design feature of the Vuarnet 085 frame is the open cut V at the center of the nose bridge, a really cool look and unique to vintage Vuarnet sunglasses of this era. Vuarnet PX4000 Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow mineral glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings double gradient silver exterior filters that gives them the double gradient mirror finish. Skilynx lenses eliminate glare and reflection, enhance contrast and depth of field, and have been recognized for 30 years as the essential high performance lens for the mountains and at sea. The unisex French nylon Vuarnet frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet V on a Ski at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet Px on a ski logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked 085 or 4085 (where the 4 prefix denotes PX-4000 Skilynx lenses) along with an impressed France and the French crown trade mark while the inside of the other stem is impressed Pouilloux.
