Vuarnet 047 Unilynx Tortuga Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 047 sunglasses are one of the most beautiful frames ever produced by Vuarnet, with "Tortuga" red and bronze shadings on the ear stems and a unique arched metal nose bridge. This special frame looks great with Vuarnet PX6000 Unilynx lenses, an amber-brown mineral glass lens with an anti-reflective interior coating. The PX 6000 Unilynx is a hybrid lens with similar characteristics of the Skilynx but without the exterior silver filters - a serious lens for all-around outdoor use. The unisex Vuarnet 047 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the oval PX6000 lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet V on a Ski at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet Px on a ski logo impressed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet impressed on the other, and the inside of one stem is impressed Pouilloux France CE while the inside of the other stem is impressed 047 GM.
