Ray-Ban W1442 Wayfarer Limited Edition Sunglasses
Vintage Ray-Ban W1442 Wayfarer Limited Edition sunglasses feature a rare blue tortoise shell frame in the classic Wayfarer style, a very low production variant of classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers. You'll find many different colors in the tortoise shell mosaic of the W1442 including yellow, brown, black, and blue, and like the best of vintage Ray-Ban tortoise frames they have a translucence to them that really shimmers in the sunlight. The unisex Ray-Ban W1442 Wayfarer frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.8758" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is marked Wayfarer and one ear pad is impressed W1442 VPAS.
