1 Vintage Ray-Ban 10k GO Changeables Outdoorsman sunglasses are the first photochromatic sunglasses Bausch & Lomb produced c 1960s, and they were marketed in the early days as Ray-Ban PhotoSun sunglasses and later marketed as Ray-Ban Changeables. The photochromatic properties of these B&L mineral glass lenses allows them to darken considerably in the sunlight, and this is a property that is infused into the glass and will never wear off or wear out. These 58mm Changeables have the Outdoorsman shooter ear stems, cable wire stems that wrap around the ear for a secure fit in even the most active uses. The unisex Ray-Ban 10k GO (10k Gold Overlay) frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the 58mm Changeables photochromatic lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.875" at the widest points. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L 1/30 10k GO USA, all impressed in the gold plating, direct from a great collection of vintage Ray-Bans in Malibu, CA.

2 Vintage Ray-Ban 10k GO Changeables Outdoorsman sunglasses are identical in size, shape, appearance, and marks except this example has B&L Ray-Ban Changeables lenses produced slightly later c 1980s wherein the right lens is laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges.
