Ray-Ban L2008 and L2009 Black Wayfarer Sunglasses
1 Vintage Ray-Ban L2008 black Wayfarer sunglasses are one of the icons of modern sunglass design and seen on many TV and movie productions such as Miami Vice. This classic B&L Ray-Ban Wayfarer features a black ebony frame and Bausch & Lomb G-15 anti-glare mineral glass lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban L2008 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is Impressed Wayfarer. On most production one ear pad is impressed L2008 ONAS and you'll find the early impressed B&L 50 [] 22 above the rear of the right lens, part of a great collection of fine vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses from a well known TV and movie industry figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.

2 Vintage Ray-Ban L2009 Wayfarer sunglasses are slightly larger, identical in appearance but 2mm wider across the nose bridge for wider faces - this does not change the 50mm lens size but only the bridge. These Ray-Ban L2009 black ebony Wayfarer sunglasses are impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA on one ear stem and Wayfarer on the other stem, and on some production L2009 YNAS is impressed on one ear pad and B&L 50 [] 24 is impressed above the rear of the right lens.
