1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1701 Chromax Traditionals Style 1 sunglasses are a tortoise shell classic from the Ray-Ban Driving Series of the 1980s and early 1990s. This is a classic shape in a beautiful tortoise shell frame, and the Chromax lenses give you the ultimate in Bausch & Lomb color contrast optical technology and innovation from this period. The unisex Ray-Ban W1701 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL and the right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the trademark Chromax lightning bolt. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of the left ear stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed Style 1, the inside of the other stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, and on some production one ear pad is impressed W1701 XVAW.
