Vintage Ray-Ban 62mm General aviator sunglasses are a very early iteration of this Ray-Ban classic c 1960s, with RB-3 Tru Green lenses that are a lighter shade of green and a bit more eye catching than the more traditional green - gray G-15 lenses. As you'll see, the Tru Green lenses look great with the gold plated 62mm aviator frame and the pearlized brow bar as worn by General Douglas MacArthur and thus nicknamed "The General." The unisex Ray-Ban 62mm aviator frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the 62mm RB 3 lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points and pre-dating B&L's incorporation of any etched logos on their mineral glass lenses. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14an early and rare classic of vintage sunglass design and part of the collection of a well known financial industry figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
