1 Vintage Vuarnet Skilynx 489 sunglasses feature a beautiful tortoise shell Gatsby style frame and amazing Vuarnet Skilynx PX4000 mirrored lenses. This is a beautiful French tortoise shell frame with an intricately etched gold plated nose bridge, and the gold and tortoise looks great with Vuarnet double gradient mirror Skilynx lenses. Vuarnet PX 4000 Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow mineral glass base lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection while enhancing contrast and depth of field as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center of both lenses. You'll find the Vuarnet circular V logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and the V logo and Vuarnet on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked Pouilloux France while the inside of the other stem is marked Ref. 489.
