Vintage Mod 1960s French Black & White Diamond Sunglasses
Vintage French midcentury sunglasses are one of the most unique styles of sunglasses you'll ever see, and they were quite expensive when made c 1960s and sold primarily at high end big city optical shops and a few of the top French, English, and American department stores. There's really not much more we can say about these rare and amazing French women's sunglasses that the pictures don't convey. They have some minor yellowing typical of white and off-white resins this old but it's all on the rear of the frame and thus completely hidden when worn. The frame measures approximately 5.125" temple to temple with diamond shaped lenses measuring approximately 1.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked Made in France and a trademark sign, part of the collection of a former film and TV actress and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
