Vintage Bolle 396 Spectra Acrylex sunglasses feature the very hard to find clear translucent frame along with Bolle blue mirror lenses, certainly one of the top frame and lens combinations produced during the golden years of Bolle sunglasses in the 1980s and 1990s. Reminiscent in size and shape to Vuarnet 002 sunglasses but with lots more design flair, Bolle Spectra ACrylex sunglasses were the optical innovation that first put Bolle sunglasses on the map. The unisex Bolle 396 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the blue mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Spectra Acrylex. You'll find the Bolle ACRYLEX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is marked 396 and impressed France.
