1 Vintage Giorgio Armani 655 985 sunglasses feature the rare Armani Italian eye cup design that both gives you extra eye protection on the sides but also looks super cool. The Armani eye cup sunglasses were not made in large quantities, and they were especially popular in Europe and in cold weather climates because of the added protection on the sides but stopping short of full size glacier glasses. They were perfect for both active outdoor pursuits and an afternoon out on the town. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.125" temple to temple, and the brown Armani glass lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched GA. The inside of one ear stem is marked Giorgio Armani Made in Italy CE, the inside of the other stem is marked 655 985 Small 140, and the rear of the nose bridge is impressed 48 [] 22. You'll find the Giorgio Armani logo subtly embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, part of the collection of a well known European sports figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
