1 Vintage Giorgio Armani 631 977 sunglasses are quite rare, made in only a very small production and a unique variation within the iconic Armani 631 line. The off white front frame is translucent in the way it shimmers in the light, really drawing your attention to this uniquely designed front frame that holds the lenses. A metal band secures the lenses in place and forms the nose bridge and the intricately etched hinges at the temples, and this precision etching was always a mark of top of the line sunglasses for the Giorgio Armani sunglasses line in any given year. You'll also find the Giorgio Armani logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and note the translucence in the way these soft gray ear stems catch the light. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.675" x 1.375" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched GA. The inside of one ear stem is marked Giorgio Armani Made Italy CE while the inside of the other stem is marked 631 977 135, part of a Manhattan Beach, CA estate collection of fine vintage sunglasses from the late 20th century.
