Vintage Serengeti DR 6501 Sea Hawk sunglasses feature a matte gold frame, tortoise shell ear pads, and a distinctive precisely etched pattern at each of the hinges where the Serengeti logo is integrated into the design. It's a great look in the Serengeti Drivers Series combined with Corning Optics glass lenses which have a blue blocker coating on the rear and measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with right lens laser etched with the stylized Serengeti S. These lenses selectively filter blue light which can cause hazy vision and eye fatigue. They also improve contrast to make colors appear brighter, and the frames are "ergonomically engineered for fit and durability and "created by Corning Inc., a world leader in optics for over a century." The unisex frame measures approximately 5.125" temple to temple, and the inside of one ear stem is marked Serengeti 6501 and one ear pad is impressed CE Frame Italy.
