1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1697 Classic Metals Arista sunglasses are one of the most beautiful and elegant designs ever produced by Bausch & Lomb during their 60 years of ownership of Ray-Ban. You'll note the very distinctive etching in the 24k gold plated Arista frame that's a step up from the traditional Arista etched design, and the single nose bridge and wide spacing between the lenses gives these a look that will immediately draw attention. The etched pattern continues down the ear stems, and note the open etched gold design of the two ear pads. The frame measures approximately 4.675" temple to temple, and the B&L G-15 lenses measure approximately 1.675" x 1.5" at the widest points. One ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges, part of the collection of a well known female sports figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
