Vintage Serengeti 6490 Osprey aviator sunglasses feature a matte bronze frame with intricate and precise etching and early Serengeti mineral glass lenses made by Corning Optics. Note the detail in the horizontal etching and the incorporation of the Serengeti logo on the ear stems - these are not cheap modern Serengetis with plastic lenses but rather high quality Italian Serengeti sunglasses c mid 1990s. The unisex Serengeti 6490 Osprey frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with the right lens laser etched with the Serengeti stylized S. One ear pad is impressed Serengeti 6490 while the other pad is impressed CE Frame Italy, part of a Seattle, WA collection of vintage 1990s eyewear and are new old stock in mint, unworn condition.
