1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 96 sunglasses feature rare Porsche Design blue gradient lenses in a matte black Carrera 5623 frame, one of the best color combinations in one of the best styles of any vintage designer sunglasses. You also get a second set of either brown gradient or gray-green lenses so you can change your look as weather conditions or your outfit dictate. The original black hard sided Carrera case is included along with the interior felt pouch that's used to store the second set of lenses. The center hinge raises to allow the lenses to be inserted or removed from small prongs on the frame, and then the hinge clamps back down to hold the lense securely in the frame. This is a good unisex size in Porsche Carreras with frame measuring approximately 5.375" temple to temple with lenses measuring approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points with left lenses marked Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one ear stem is marked with an impressed serial number plus CE Made in Austria 5623 96 130 while the other stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera along with the US patent number. Rare Carrera blue gradient lenses are very hard to find and they look terrific in the 5623 frame, part of the collection of a well known sports figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
