Cool and sexy vintage B&L Ray-Ban 62mm Tortuga General aviator sunglasses feature the wonderful Ray-Ban Tortuga frame with enameled tortoise highlights on the gold plated frame, Tortuga "General" brow bar, and 62mm Bausch & Lomb G-15 anti-glare lenses. It's a beautiful style that's designed to balance perfectly on the face, and the Tortuga frame and General bar is a rare combination and low production even when they were produced c late 1980s / early 1990s. The tortoise shell ear pads round out the look in this nicely sized frame measuring approximately 5.5" temple to temple. The B&L G-15 62mm aviator lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points with the right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 all impressed in the gold plating.
