The center "bullet hole" design coupled with the "General" brow bar were originally designed by Bausch & Lomb to provide a more comfortable and balanced fit on the face - but they also make the sunglasses look super cool! The black chrome plating has proven to stand the test of time through a patented Bausch & Lomb process wherein the enamel was permanently bonded to the frame, and of course you also get the high quality B&L optics to complete these very high performance hunting or shooting sunglasses. The 64mm G-15 lenses measure approximately 2.675" x 2.125" at the widest points and the Ray-Ban Sharpshooter bullet hole frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 64 [] 14, and the right lens is laser etched Ray-Ban while both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges.
