1 Vintage Ray-Ban L1617 Wayfarer Street Neat sunglasses feature the eye catching black ebony and tortoise shell combo and are very hard to find, and we think it's one of the best looking styles of original Wayfarers bar none. The black ebony ear stems and front frame give you the classic Wayfarer look, but the almost translucent orange shade of tortoise used on these L1617 Wayfarers is the embodiment of the finely crafted eyewear for which Bausch & Lomb has always been known. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is impressed Wayfarer. The unisex Ray-Ban Wayfarer frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb G-15 lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges.

2 Identical in appearance except the Ray-Ban in metal relief on the outside of the stem is replaced by the same simple metal insert as on the front frame (see photo 18) and produced a few years earlier, these vintage Ray-Ban Wayfarer Street Neat ebony and tortoise shell sunglasses are also impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA on the inside of one stem and impressed Wayfarer on the inside of the other stem. In addition, they are impressed B&L 5022 above the rear of the right lens, and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges.
