1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1665 Chromax General sunglasses from the Ray-Ban Driving Series are the total package you look for in fine vintage sunglasses - a look that can't be beat with the use of gold plating and black in the classic "General" aviator style combined with amazing Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses. The Chromax Color Contrast Technology lenses enhance the relative intensity and contrast of critical driving colors (reds, greens, and ambers). As a result, brake lights, traffic signals and signs appear brighter and easier to see. Chromax lenses also filter out blue light haze to give you excellent overall contrast and sharpened details. These original and vintage Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses are scientifically formulated to control glare, adding to driving comfort and reducing eye fatigue. Treated with an advanced anti-reflection coating, they also cut distracting reflections from the rear surface of the lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban W1665 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the 62mm Chromax lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax lightning bolt and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14, and on some production one ear pad is impressed W1665 XVAS.
