1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1699 Explorer sunglasses with hard to find Bausch & Lomb B-20 Chromax lenses have a more rounded rectangular shape than traditional aviators, and the black General brow bar and ear stems look great with the 58mm B-20 Chromax lenses and gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame. Chromax Color Contrast Technology lenses enhance the relative intensity and contrast of critical driving colors (reds, greens, and ambers). As a result, brake lights, traffic signals and signs appear brighter and easier to see. Chromax lenses also filter out blue light haze to give you excellent overall contrast and sharpened details. Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses are scientifically formulated to control glare, adding to driving comfort and reducing eye fatigue. Treated with an advanced anti-reflection coating, they also cut distracting reflections from the rear surface of the lenses. Ray-Ban W1699 Explorer sunglasses are a perfect size for both men and women, with frame measuring approximately 5.375" temple to temple with lenses measuring 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with right is laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax lightning bolt trademark and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 17, and one ear pad is impressed W1699 WNAD, part of an exclusive collection of vintage B&L Ray-Bans from Greenwich, CT.
