1 Vintage Ray-Ban W2051 Signet Chromax sunglassess from the Ray-Ban Driving Series feature Bausch & Lomb Chromax B-20 lenses and the top of the line Arista 24k gold plated Signet frame for the ultimate in B&L optical innovation in one of the most iconic Ray-Ban styles. Note the precise horizontal etching at the temples which is a trademark of the Signet design, and when paired with the Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses as part of the Ray-Ban Driving Series they were marketed as "the world's most advanced driving sunglasses." The Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Chromax (Color Contrast Technology) B-20 lenses enhance the relative intensity and contrast of critical driving colors (reds, greens, and ambers). As a result, brake lights, traffic signals and signs appear brighter and easier to see. Chromax lenses also filter out blue light haze to give you excellent overall contrast and sharpened details, scientifically formulated to control glare to improve driving comfort and reduce eye fatigue. Treated with an advanced anti-reflection coating, they also cut distracting reflections from the rear surface of the lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban W2051 Signet frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with B-20 Chromax lenses that measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax lightning bolt trademark and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The inside of one ear stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, the other ear stem is impressed Signet, and the top and bottom of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA. One ear pad is impressed with model number W2051 XTAW CE, part of the collection of a well known sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
