These B&L Ray-Ban photochromatic Changeables lenses will darken considerably in the sunlight, adapting to varying light conditions. Ray-Ban Changeables sunglasses darken to 75% of their full capacity within the first minute of exposure to sunlight. Out of sunlight, they lighten half way within the first 10 minutes and about 75% within the first 90 minutes. These photochromatic properties are infused into the glass lens; it is not a coating that can wear off or wear out over time. The unisex Ray-Ban Caravan Changeables frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the 58mm mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L 58 [] 16 USA.
