1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1988 Western Square sunglasses feature intricately etched gold plated ear stems, a beautiful yellow tortoise shell front frame, and Bausch & Lomb G-15 mineral glass lenses. There are so many details to point out on the W1988 including the beautifully translucent tortoise shell front frame, the elaborate geometric etching of the gold plated nose bridge and ear stems, and matching multi-colored tortoise ear pads. It all looks great together with Bausch & Lomb's famous G-15 anti-glare lenses to make the Ray-Ban W1988 Western Square one of the highest quality, most eye catching examples of vintage designer sunglasses. The unisex Ray-Ban W1988 Western Square frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the B&L G-15 lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL at the nose bridge. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban, the inside of one ear stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban, and one ear pad of the other stem is impressed W1986 YTAY. Hard to find.
