Carrera Porsche Design 5623 36 Red and Gold Sunglasses
Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 36 sunglasses are one of the rarest of all vintage Porsche Design frames, and here you get the added bonus of two great sets sof interchangeable Porsche Design lenses in hard to find rose gradient and gray. Red enamel is applied to the gold plated Austrian frame, and the use of color on the frame makes the rose gradient lenses really pop and makes the gray lenses pick up distinctive rose hues. The center hinge raises and lowers to secure the lenses in place along with small prongs on the frame. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5623 36 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.675" x 2.125" at the widest points with left lenses in both sets laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one ear stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera along with the US patent number while the inside of the other stem is marked 5623 36 130 along with the impressed serial number. Very rare.
