1 Vintage Bolle 396 Spectra Acrylex sunglasses feature a rich chocolate brown frame along with Bolle gold mirror lenses, certainly one of the top frame and lens combinations produced during the best years of Bolle sunglasses in the 1980s and 1990s. Reminiscent in size and shape to Vuarnet 002 sunglasses but with lots of extra design flair, Bolle Acrylex sunglasses were the optical innovation that first put Bolle sunglasses on the map. The unisex Bolle 396 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the rare gold mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Bolle Acrylex. You'll also find the Bolle ACRYLEX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed Frame France along with the French crown trademark.
