1 Vintage Ray-Ban W0555 Precious Metals Outdoorsman shooter sunglasses feature very hard to find shooter ear stems to provide the most secure fit possible in all situations, a rare variation of vintage B&L Ray-Ban Precious Metals sunglasses. Precious Metals were marketed by Bausch & Lomb as an opulent blend of classic and contemporary styling, "with all the richness of your finest jewelry" in a pair of "optically superior" sunglasses. The classic Precious Metals Outdoorsman style features two-tone plating of precious metals to accentuate your eyes in a new and exciting way. The Bausch & Lomb Blue Changeables photochromatic lenses enhance optical quality along with glare and UV protection, changing color in varying light conditions to optimize performance. The photochromatic properties of Changeables lenses are infused into the mineral glass lenses and are not a coating that can wear off or wear out. The ultra strong frame of the Precious Metals line also provides a secure fit for the lenses in the frame and is impressed with a unique serial number exclusive to the Ray-Ban Precious Metals line. The unisex Ray-Ban W0555 Precious Metals shooter frame is plated with 24k gold and measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the 62mm blue Changeable lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised gold plated metal on the right lens, the hallmark of the Ray-Ban Precious Metals line, and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA along with the unique Precious Metals serial number, part of a major collection of the finest vintage Ray-Bans in San Diego, CA. Very rare.
