1 Vintage Oakley Juliet TiO2 sunglasses are light, strong, and rare, a combination of Oakley Romeo ear stems and the the Oakley Juliet lens contour with an average size of both but more inclined to the Romeos. The contrasting light and dark X Metal, Oakley X Metal is also called C5, a composite of 5 different metals that are heated and then fused together during the manufacturing process. The beauty of using C5 is that it is extremely strong, lightweight, durable and aesthetically beautiful. It is also highly resistant to shocks, humidity, UV, thermal shocks and stresses exerted during wear, and this incredible strength makes them the sunglass of choice for many athletes. Oakley VR28 lenses use superheated metallic oxides which are fused to the lens at the molecular level, permanently bonding to create a uniform filtering layer that optimizes contrast and minimizes glare. Tuned to transmit from 9 to 92 percent of available light, the coatings are specifically formulated for optimal balance between reflection, transmission and absorption, depending on the usage. The unisex Oakley Juliet TiO2 Titanium frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the Oakley VR28 lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.375" at the widest points.
