Vuarnet 016 Verdigris PX-2000 Sunglasses
1 Vintage Vuarnet 016 sunglasses are one of the most unique frames ever produced by Vuarnet, best known for their lenses but in this case we think you'll agree the verdigris patina applied to this classically styled frame is really striking and eye catching like few others. Verdigris is a green pigment obtained through the application of acetic acid to copper plate, and it's a rich, elegant look that goes perfectly with the high performance Vuarnet PX-2000 lenses. Vuarnet PX-2000 lenses which were designed with an anti-reflective interior coating, subtly enhancing color and contrast to be ideal for everyday use and driving. The unisex Vuarnet 016 frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark V on a Ski at the top center of both Skilynx lenses. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo impressed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet impressed on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked Pouilloux France while the inside of the other stem is impressed 016, part of a great collection of vintage Vuarnet sunglasses in Lyons, France.
