Ray-Ban Signet Deluxe RB-3 Sunglasses
Vintage Ray-Ban Signet Deluxe sunglasses were the original iteration of this modern design icon c 1960s, evoking a sleeker, more angular, lower profile design than more modern Ray-Ban Signet sunglasses of the 1970s - 1990s. The matte gold frame is of typically high Bausch & Lomb quality, strong and durable and the predecessor for frames that would be referred to as Deep Groove later in the 70s and 80s. The unisex Ray-Ban Signet Deluxe frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb G-15 mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.5" at the widest points. The inside of both ear stems are impressed B&L 3 3/4 5 while the rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 20. Seldom seen, this is a piece of Bausch & Lomb and designer sunglasses history while at the same time still looking distinctively modern in the 21st century. Rare.
