1 Vintage Oakley 009143-05 Gascan Adventures of Tintin 3D High Definition Optics limited edition glasses feature a polished frame with art inspired by the 2011 3D movie The Adventures of Tintin directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson and Spielberg. Elaborate artwork from the movie graces both ear stems in a shade of gold that looks fantastic set against the Gascan Rootbeer frame. In the movie intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor. The film was the first motion-captured animated film (and first non-Pixar film) to win the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, and composer John Williams was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score. While they can be worn everyday, Oakley set the standard for optical performance in 3D with their revolutionary, patented HDO-3D technology. It's a stylish and eye catching pair of glasses that complements any look, and whenever you do anything 3D they're going to be far better than anything else you're given at the theatre or attraction. The unisex Oakley Gascan frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.375" at the widest points with lower left lens laser etched HDO 3D. You'll find the Oakley O logo inset in gold into the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked The Adventures of Tintin 009143-05 and impressed Gascan while the inside of the other stem is impressed Made in USA CE.
