1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5650 70 Titan sunglasses are one of the most highly sought after of any of the early Porsche Design icons from the 1980s and much harder to find than the other contender - the Carrera PD 5621 and 5623 interchangeable lens sunglasses. But the Carrera Porsche Design 5650 Titan is clearly the most unique and eye catching design ever produced through this partnership, with an exposed rimless upper frame versus the more common rimless lower frame you'll occasionally find in other vintage sunglass brands. The frame itself is forged with a super strong Titanium alloy from which the line gets its name, and just to hold them you'll immediately sense the strength in the frame. The matte silver frame looks great with top of the line blue gradient lenses, to most the holy grail of vintage Carreras. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5650 70 Titan frame measures approximately 5.875" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.125" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Frame Austria 5650 70 56 [] 22 135 along with the unique impressed serial number while the inside of the other stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design. Very rare.
