1 Vintage Ray-Ban L0418 G-31 double gradient mirror aviator sunglasses are an icon of modern sunglasses design with their origin dating back to the 1950s, and the combination of the highly reflective mirrored lenses and the gold plated Arista frame give you a look and optical quality that's unequaled. The rare Bausch & Lomb G-31 double gradient mirror lenses are silver mirror at the top and bottom with the darker line of gradient passing horizontally across the center of the lenses. This helps you to more clearly see LED's and instrument panels and was one of the many optical innovations introduced by Bausch & Lomb. The B&L 58mm G-31 DGM lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the unisex 58mm aviator frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA and the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L 58 [] 14 USA, part of a Malibu, CA estate collection of rare vintage Ray-Bans exclusive to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
