1 Vintage Bolle 553 sunglasses feature the classic shape shared with vintage Vuarnet 003 sunglasses, not surprising since during the golden age of Bolle in the 1980s and 1990s they shared French production facilities with Vuarnet and even manufactured some glacier glasses for Bausch & Lomb. The rare white nylon frame is an eye catching complement for the highly reflective silver mirror lenses and a period rival of the B&L Ray-Ban G-31 lens, a style perfectly at home at both formal and casual occasions. The unisex Bolle 553 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.875" at the widest points. You'll find the Bolle logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France Depose along with the French crown trademark while the inside of the other stem is impressed Nylon along with the French crown trademark.
