1 Vintage Cartier Giverny Sicier 135b Natural Horn sunglasses c 1990s are one of the most highly sought after designs of any vintage Cartier and very hard to find today. The elegant, finely crafted gold and silver plated frame is distinctive enough, but the real stars of the show are the natural white buffalo horn ear stems intricately linked to the gold frame and making the Cartier Sicier as distinctive from the sides as they are from the front. Cartier uses natural horns with unique patterns from South America and Asia in their most expensive sunglasses, a natural material which offers a variety of tones to give each frame a special character. The unisex Cartier Giverny Sicier 135b frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the Cartier Paris logo. You'll find the Cartier C in gold at the hinges of both ear stems, and the rear of the nose bridge is impressed © Cartier 55 [] 22 along with the unique Cartier serial number. The inside of one ear stem is marked © Cartier 135b Natural Horn, the inside of the other stem is impressed Natural Horn Made in France 135b and the inside of the gold hinge on that side is impressed Cartier Paris, and both ear pads are embossed in gold Cartier. Very rare.
