1 Vintage Carrera 5700 40 sunglasses from the highly sought after Carrera Boeing Collection feature a sleek, streamlined gold plated frame in an advanced aviator styling that forms the perfect complement for the gradient Carrera optyl high performance lenses. Carrera Boeing Collection sunglasses were produced in only small quantities, a 1980s collaboration between Carrera and Boeing to design and produce high performance eyewear for pilots as well as the fashion conscious public. Other notable design features include 3-C nosepads with 70° rotating capability and height adjustable, shock absorbers that provide flexibility, stability and comfort, and temple screws which never require adjusting. The unisex Carrera 5700 frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.125" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Boeing. You'll find the Boeing Carrera logo impressed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Made in Austria 5700 40 62 [] 14 Large 130 along with the unique impressed Carrera serial number while the inside of the other stem is marked The Boeing Collection by Carrera.
