1 Vintage Ray-Ban 58mm Tortuga aviator shooter sunglasses feature the rare Tortuga variation of the Arista gold plated frame along with hard to find Bausch & Lomb B-15 color contrast lenses. You'll see 100 B&L Ray-Ban Arista gold plated aviators for every one Tortuga aviator that comes along, and you'll see hundreds of those before you come across one of these Ray-Ban Tortuga shooters. The cable wire ear stems wrap behind the ears to provide the most secure fit possible in all conditions. There's no better color complement for the Tortuga frame than the brown Bausch & Lomb B-15 high contrast mineral glass lenses that screen out blue light to improve contrast and sharpen details. These iconic lenses provide 85% visible light absorption and 100% UV protection, and vintage B-15 lenses are much harder to find than the more common G-15 lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban 58mm Tortuga aviator frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the B&L B-15 lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14, part of the collection of a major European collector and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
