Vintage Serengeti 6549 Ambassador sunglasses feature a sleek chrome frame perfect for both formal and casual occasions along with the always high quality vintage Serengeti mineral glass lenses. The Serengeti 6549 Ambassador was produced in only small quantities and thus difficult to find today, and it was one of the last styles produced before the Serengeti brand was sold and subsequently cheapened by the switch to cheap polycarbonate lenses. The unisex Serengeti 6549 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately "1.875 x 1.25" at the widest points with right lens laser etched with the stylized Serengeti S. You'll find the Serengeti logo impressed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Serengeti 6549 and one ear pad is marked CE Frame Italy..
