Revo 951 008 Purple Mirror Sunglasses
1 Vintage Revo 951 008 sunglasses feature an eye catching tortoise shell frame reminiscent of vintage B&L Ray-Ban Wayfarers but with a lot more curves and style, but the real stars of the show are the Revo purple mirror lenses with optical coatings developed for the NASA space program and in our opinion never equaled before or since. This is a very early style c large 1980s, one of a series of styles produced in Hong Kong before reunification and made in only small quantities and thus quite rare to find today. The unisex Revo 951 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points. You'll find the Revo logo embossed in gold on the exterior of both ear stem and the inside of one stem is marked 951 008 Frame Hong Kong, a very early Revo style c 1980s from a well known TV personality and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
