They have all the bells and whistles you'd want in vintage Persol sunglasses including the Persol arrow point hinges and the Persol Meflecto system wherein metal cylinders are inserted into the ear stems to provide unparalleled flex and comfort unlike anything else made regardless of designer. The tortoise shell frame looks great with the brown Persol mineral glass polarized lenses, hard to find given Persol did few polarized lenses back in this golden era of production. The unisex Persol 649 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Persol P to indicate Persol's advanced optical polarization. The inside of one stem is marked Persol Hand Made in Italy CE Polarized / Photo Ch while the inside of the other stem is marked 649 24/23 58 [] 20 150 3F and both ear pads are impressed Persol.
