1 Vintage Ray-Ban Decot bullet hole shooter sunglasses are a rare variation of traditional aviator shaped Ray-Ban bullet hole shooters, better suited for medium and smaller face sizes and for both men and women. The B&L Ray-Ban bullet hole was designed not just for good looks but to also create better balance on the face for hunters and shooters. Bausch & Lomb developed this "Decot Shooter" variation with well known sportsman Bud Decot in the 1950s, and they are still the benchmark shooting sunglasses for skeet and trap shooters worldwide. Its unique high-riding design ensures a virtually uninterrupted field of view and superb coverage for sport and bird shooters, with lenses that are longer but not as tall as a standard bullet hole shooter which along with the 5mm bridge (versus 8mm for the standard shooter) provides more eye protection from flying debris like burning powder fragments during shooting. The Bausch & Lomb G-15 mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the unisex Ray-Ban Decot bullet hole shooter frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, part of a well known sports broadcaster and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
