Vuarnet 012 PX-2000 Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 012 sunglasses were a very low production style from the late 1980s into the early 1990s, a finely crafted and very elegant style that was one of the company's first breaks with their largely nylon frame, outdoor sports oriented styles. Note the rich translucent color of the ear stems and the etched black hinges that all lend extra design flair. Vuarnet PX2000 lenses are a brown base mineral glass lens with an advanced anti-reflective interior coating that provides subtle enhancement of color and contrast, ideal for everyday use and driving. The unisex Vuarnet 012 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski".. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo impressed on the exterior of one ear stems and an impressed Vuarnet on the other stem, and the inside of one stem is marked Pouilloux Frane while the inside of the other stem is marked 012 CE.
