1 Vintage Vuarnet 085 sunglasses feature the distinctive Vuarnet 085 durable blue nylon frame with the center V cut out, one of the most unique and identifiable styles ever produced by Vuarnet, along with the superb optical performance of vintage Vuarnet PX 2000 lenses. The Vuarnet 085 frame is instantly recognizable as Vuarnet with the center V, and there's no better color combination than the royal blue Vuarnet 085 frame coupled with brown mineral glass PX-2000 lenses. The Vuarnet PX 2000 lens is a brown base mineral glass lens with an anti-reflective interior coating, featuring subtle enhancement of color and contrast and ideal for everyday use and driving. The unisex Vuarnet 085 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX-2000 embossed on the other to indicate Vuarnet's high performance lens, and the inside of one ear stem is impressed 085 or 2085 (in later years of production the 2 prefix was added to indicate the PX-2000 lenses) and impressed France along with the French crown trademark and the inside of the other stem is impressed Pouilloux and marked Vuarnet.
