Bolle 8161 Acrylex Glacier Glasses
Vintage Bolle 8161 Acrylex glacier glasses were produced at shared production facilities with sister company Vuarnet, sharing parts and exact size and shape with Vuarnet 027 glacier glasses (as seen in the James Bond movie Spectre) of this period. The flexible leather side blinkers protect your eyes from wind and glare from the sides, and the adjustable Outdoorsman ear stems that curve behind the ear and a strap through the leather side blinkers keeps them securely around your neck. The unisex Bolle 8161 frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the Bolle lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with left lens laser etched with the Bolle trademark. You'll find the Bolle logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed France while the bottom of that stem is marked Crevasse plus the unique serial number.
