Serengeti 5259 Black Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses
Vintage Serengeti 5259 black aviator sunglasses feature the only mirrored lens other than the double gradient mirror Vermilion that Corning Optics - of Corning Glass fame - made for Serengeti during their glory years of the 1990s. The size, shape, and appearance is reminiscent of a B&L Ray-Ban 62mm aviator but a much sturdier, more rigid frame with more curves plus those great Corning mineral glass lenses. The unisex Serengeti 5259 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points. The inside of one stem is marked Serengeti Eyewear 5259R while the inside of the other stem is marked Corning Optics and one ear pad is impressed Frame Japan.
