1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 75 sunglasses feature the rare white and gold plated variation of this icon of 20th century sunglass design, but along with a rare frame you also get the eye catching and extremely hard to find Porsche Design tricolor lenses with colors of blue, purple, and pink along with a second set of either gray or gray gradient Porsche Design lenses. A very few style variations of Carrera Porsche Design 5621 and 5623 sunglasses from this period came from the factory as part of a standard lens set as is the case here with the 5623 75, but for the most part you could only get Tri-color lenses as a special order. Both lens sets are interchangeable by lifting the center hinge of the frame and inserting the lenses into prongs on the frame before lowering the hinge to secure them. The unisex Porsche Carrera 5623 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 2.25" at the widest points with both left lenses laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera while the inside of the other stem is marked 5623 75 125 Made in Austria along with the unique impressed serial number and one ear pad is impressed with the US patent number. Includes black Carrera Porsche Design case with felt pouch to store your second set of interchangeable lenses. Very rare.
