1 Vintage Vuarnet 085 Skilynx sunglasses are one of the most recognizable sunglasses ever made, perfect for skiing, hiking, boating, or just looking cool with the incised Vuarnet V directly at the nose bridge and amazing Vuarnet Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses. The French nylon frame has a subtle wrap design to give you added eye protection on the sides, and it's sturdy and designed to stand up to active outdoor pursuits. The Vuarnet Skilynx lens was a notable innovation in optical technology, providing a blue blocker inner coating with the gradient mirror external coating to give you advanced glare reduction even in the most extreme conditions.The durable unisex blue Vuarnet 085 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with Skilynx lenses measuring approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points and both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the PX and PX Vuarnet trademarks on the outside of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed Pouilloux and the other stem is marked 085 or 4085 (Vuarnet added the 4 prefix c 1992 to indicate the PX-4000 Skilynx lenses) along with the impressed France and crown trademark. Hard to find.
