Vuarnet 002 PX-6000 Unilynx Sunglasses
1 Vintage Vuarnet 002 Unilynx sunglasses feature the iconic Vuarnet 002 gloss black frame, but the stars of the show here are definitely the PX-6000 Unilynx mineral glass lenses that are both rare and one of the finest optical quality lenses ever produced. The Vuarnet PX 6000 Unilynx lens is an amber-brown base with anti-reflective interior coating, a hybrid lens with similar characteristics of the Skilynx but without the exterior silver filters. It's a serious lens for all-around outdoor use that allows for a more evenly balanced color transmission while improving on the contrast-enhancing, glare diminishing properties of the Skilynx lens. The unisex Vuarnet 002 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Unilynx lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski." You'll find the Vuarnet PX Pouilloux trademark embossed on the outside of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet on the other, and the inside of one ear stem is impressed France and marked 002 while the inside of the other stem is impressed Pouilloux, part of the collection of a European sports figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
