Very early vintage Bausch & Lomb 12k gold filled Clubmaster Rounds sunglasses c 1950s have a look that's still pretty cool in the 21st century. The top accent pattern is reminiscent of snakeskin and extends down the two12k gold plated ear stems, and the intricately etched nose bridge adds plenty of extra design flair. The B&L Clubmaster Rounds are the earliest version of the iconic Ray-Ban Clubmaster and measure approximately 5.0" temple to temple with lenses that measure approximately 1.675" x 1.375" at the widest points. These early B&L 12k GF Clubmaster Rounds sunglasses pre-date the Ray-Ban brand introduction and are marked on the inside of both ear stems Bausch & Lomb 5 1/2, and the rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L 1/10 12k GF 20-44. Rare.
