Vintage Versace Mod. S99 Col 030 sunglasses feature a 24k gold plated frame and a raised silver plated GV trademark logo on the exterior of both ear stems. Notable design features of Versace S99 030 sunglasses also include thick front gold plated frame, a unique combination of curves and angles, and the raised silver plated Gianni Versace GV logo that adds a 3 dimensional quality to the ear stems. Versace production records indicate that these Versace S99 sunglasses were produced just before the assassination of Gianni Versace in 1997 as he was walking back to his Miami Beach mansion from Ocean Drive, making these one of the final design collections overseen by Gianni Versace himself. The unisex Versace S99 030 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.125" at the widest points. You'll find the Gianni Versace logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one ear stem is marked Gianni Versace Made in Italy CE while the inside of the other stem is marked Mod S99 Col 030.
